Short review by DeProgrammer on 9 Apr. 2008. Metroid: Genesis has an average story, acceptably cartoony graphics, and generally interesting Metroid music remixes. I wouldn't look forward to it being completed soon, despite having been in production for years, but when it is done, it will make a great Metroid fangame engine, with lots of customizability. That's probably the least obvious but most awesome factor about the game, in my opinion.
